The Andrea Bocelli Summer Experience gives guests the opportunity to get a real authentic taste of Tuscany, through its sites, sounds and most notably a mesmerising open-air performance by the world's most beloved tenor himself.

Your Holiday Itinerary

Day1 Arrival in Montecatini

You will fly directly to Pisa Airport, where you will be met by your Topflight Tour Manager. You will be transferred to the beautiful Grand Hotel Columbia Wellness and Spa in Montecatini Terme, where you will stay for the duration of your time in Tuscany. On arrival, there will be time to settle into your room, perhaps take a gentle stroll nearby, or simply relax after your journey.

Later, enjoy a delicious 3-course dinner at the hotel, a lovely opportunity to get to know your fellow travellers and ease into the rhythm of your holiday in Italy.

Day2 Siena & San Gimignano with Wine Tasting

Start the day with breakfast at the hotel before heading out on a scenic coach ride through the Tuscan countryside to Siena. Here, you’ll embark on a guided walking tour of the city, taking in its famous landmarks such as the fan-shaped Piazza del Campo and the magnificent Siena Cathedral (entrance not included). After the tour, enjoy some free time for lunch at your own pace and perhaps a wander through Siena’s medieval streets and boutiques.

In the afternoon, continue on to San Gimignano, known for its striking medieval towers that rise above the rolling hills. You will have free time to explore the town, browse the small shops or simply enjoy a gelato in one of the pretty squares. Afterwards, visit a local wine estate for a relaxed tasting experience, where you’ll sample some regional wines accompanied by traditional Tuscan snacks. You will then return by coach to the hotel in the evening for an overnight stay.

Day3 Day at Leisure in Montecatini

Today is yours to enjoy at leisure in Montecatini Terme. After breakfast, you may wish to take things at a lovely relaxed pace, making the most of the hotel’s comfortable facilities — perhaps spending time by the pool or enjoying a quiet moment with a book. You might also like to take a gentle stroll through Montecatini, admiring its elegant spa buildings, pretty streets and welcoming cafés.

A particularly pleasant option is the funicular to the charming hilltop village of Montecatini Alto. The ride itself is easy and enjoyable, and at the top you’ll find beautiful views and a peaceful main square with cafés where you can sit, relax and soak up the atmosphere before returning to the hotel for a restful evening.

Day4 Andrea Bocelli – Teatro del Silenzio

Enjoy a leisurely morning in Montecatini Terme after breakfast, with time to relax or take a gentle walk before the highlight of your holiday. In the early afternoon, your coach will depart for Lajatico and the famous Teatro del Silenzio. The coach will park at a designated area from where a shuttle bus will bring you closer to the venue; from the shuttle drop-off point it is approximately a one-kilometre walk along an access road to the theatre, so comfortable footwear is recommended.
As the sun begins to set over the Tuscan hills, take your seats for this unforgettable open-air concert. Maestro Andrea Bocelli’s powerful tenor voice, combined with the dramatic natural amphitheatre and the special programme celebrating the 30th anniversary of his landmark album Romanza, creates an evening of music and emotion you will never forget. After the performance, which is expected to finish around midnight, you will return by shuttle to the coach and then travel back to your hotel for a late-night arrival and well-earned rest.

Day5 Day at Leisure

After last night’s very special experience, today is designed as a gentle day of rest. Take your time over breakfast and then relax at the hotel, perhaps unwinding by the pool or visiting the spa facilities if you wish. You may also choose to stroll once more through Montecatini, stopping for a coffee or gelato and watching local life go by.
With no fixed schedule, you are free to spend the day exactly as you please, ensuring you feel refreshed for the days ahead.

Day6 Florence by Train

After breakfast, set off on a full-day excursion to Florence, the cradle of the Renaissance. The hotel is located around 750 metres (approximately a 10-minute walk) from Montecatini’s train station, and you will travel by train into the heart of the city, arriving at Santa Maria Novella station. On arrival, a local English-speaking guide will lead you on a 2-hour walking tour of Florence’s most iconic sights, including the magnificent Duomo, Piazza della Signoria and the Ponte Vecchio (entrance fees are extra if you wish to visit the interiors).
Following the guided tour, enjoy ample free time to explore Florence at your own pace. You might browse for leather goods and artisan products, visit one of the renowned art galleries, or simply relax with a drink in one of the beautiful piazzas. In the late afternoon, you will take the train back to Montecatini and return to your hotel for the evening.

Please note: While the excursion is planned to operate by train, in the unlikely event of train services being disrupted or unavailable, the journey will be carried out by coach.

Day7 Day at Leisure

Today offers a final opportunity to enjoy the relaxed pace of Montecatini and its surroundings. Perhaps revisit a favourite café, take a last ride on the funicular to Montecatini Alto, or simply spend time enjoying the hotel’s amenities. It is a lovely chance to reflect on the many special moments of your holiday, from vineyard tastings to Florence’s treasures and the unforgettable Bocelli concert, before your journey home.
Enjoy your final overnight stay in Montecatini.

Day8 Return Home

After a final breakfast, your coach will transfer you from the hotel to Pisa Airport for your return journey home. As you travel, take a moment to look back on your days in Tuscany and the magical memory of hearing Andrea Bocelli perform in his homeland.
