Frendly bubbly nature of reps who could interact with young and old. Common people touch.

The pretty and quaint Hotel Metropole provides wonderful accommodation, close enough to the historical centre of Sorrento to enjoy its charms but far enough to ensure you can enjoy some relaxation.
Perched upon a hilltop providing exquisite panoramic views of the Gulf of Naples, this charming hotel is perfect for those who like to lounge by the pool, in the sun and generally take it easy. The swimming pool and its surrounding gardens are equipped with sun loungers, tables and chairs so you can spend your day here, chilling out and enjoying the glorious Sorrentine sunshine.
Rooms in the hotel are air-conditioned and decorated in a simple Mediterranean style and each features a balcony or a terrace to ensure that guests can enjoy their very own private slice of Italian sunshine.
The hotel's traditional restaurant offers classic delicious Italian dishes, which are served on the sunny terrace during lunch time - ideal for enjoying the best of Italy, its fabulous food and its fabulous sunshine.
But if after a few days of relaxation, you feel it’s time to explore the surrounding area, you are about a 20 minute walk downhill, by the road side, to the bustling Corsa Italia, which is Sorrento’s bustling main street. Alternatively, a bus to the centre of the town stops in front of the hotel every 20 minutes. You can spend time enjoying Sorrento's cobblestoned streets and elegant piazzas, where pretty little pavement cafés call out for you to sit down, relax and watch the world go by. You can elect to take a boat trip from the city’s port to the island of Capri, a very worthwhile trip to take and we always recommend a trip to the spectacular ruins of Pompeii and the incredible Mount Vesuvius.
This property is offered on a Bed & Breakfast basis.
This pretty hotel is situated high above the bay, ensuring that guests benefit from some exquisite views.
It is a 20 minute downhill, roadside walk to the centre of Sorrento. There is a public bus stop just beside the hotel, so should you wish to avoid the walk, the bus will take you to the centre within minutes.
As one of Topflight’s longest-serving resort managers, Lindsey has lived in Sorrento for 38 years and knows the surrounding region like the back of her hand. Speaking of Sorrento she says "the whole area has so much culture, history, beauty, friendly locals and of course 9 months of sunshine, so what’s not to love!" Lindsey's not to miss are the Amalfi coast drive & Capri for the sheer beauty and a taste of la Dolce Vita.
Lorna couldn’t miss developing a love for all things Italian. Her Italian mum ensured that during childhood she was brought up enjoying the best of Italian food alongside frequent visits to her mother’s homeland. She has 30 years experience as a rep with 18 of these spent in Sorrento, her home now. Lorna says "all of the area is spectacular so either Capri or Amalfi excursions for sightseeing and Pompeii or Herculaneum for a little bit of history is a must."
Wendy first came to Sorrento on holiday years ago where she fell in love and later was married in a tiny church overlooking the beautiful Bay of Naples "I love everything about the Neapolitan way of life: The local food, regional wines, ancient traditions, myths, legends and vibrant atmosphere. Above all, the Neapolitan philosophy... 'Carpe Diem'..."
