Your Holiday Itinerary

Day1Fly to Olbia

You will fly to Olbia Airport and on arrival, you will be met by your Tour Manager who will show you to your coach. You will be transferred to your hotel, the AHR Baja Hotel & SPA, Cannigione. Located a few steps from the sea and the town center, this hotel offers finely furnished, modern bedrooms, as well as a fantastic Mediterranean restaurant, a cocktail bar and outdoor kiosk, outdoor swimming pool with umbrellas and sunbeds, a SPA wellness center and a gym.

Day2La Maddalena

A short stroll from the hotel to the pier this morning will take us to the start point of today's wonderful excursion, a boat trip around La Maddalena. The emerald green hues of the heavenly sea around the ‘La Maddalena’ archipelago resembles a tropical paradise. Myrtle and juniper and the pink granite boulders, etched by the wind and the waves, characterise the island. The islands of the archipelago are in fact categorised as a national park, as the home of an abundance of unique flora and fauna. La Maddalena is the main town of the identically named island and is a small romantic harbour town that exudes charm.
Our first stop on our trip will be Santa Maria, a small town with stunning scenery and rich history. We will spend some time here, taking in the sights and lapping up the atmosphere. Afterwards we will continue on our journey to the unique Spiaggia Rosa, the famous pink beach of the archipelago. A unique mix of marine matter gives the sand it's peculiar and very beautiful pink pigment. Stops in the beautiful Spargi and Maddalena will round out the programme for the day before we our returned to the port for the coach journey back to the hotel.

Day3Costa Smeralda with Wine Tasting

Today you will embark on an adventure taking in the phenomenal natural beauty of the Costa Smeralda, with its turquoise-blue seas, heavenly bays and crystal clear waters. The breathtaking coach drive along the world-famous Costa Smeralda will lead you past the granite cliffs and white sand beaches with awe-inspiring views of the emerald-green sea. Along the way you will stop in beautiful villages like Porto Cervo, the main village of the Costa Smeralda with its yacht harbour, Cala di Volpe and Porto Rotondo, which are ideal for strolling and exploring at your leisure.
On the return journey to the hotel, we will stop off at a local vineyard to indulge in a little wine tasting. You will be invited to try some samples of the highly rated wine produced in this region, paired with some delicious snacks that are typical of the area.

Day4Day At Leisure

Today you have the time to spend at your leisure, so why not take it easy and enjoy the facilities of your hotel. The beautiful 4 star + AHR Baja Hotel & Spa is perfect for whiling away your time with relaxing activities like lounging by the pool with a good book, or indulging in the spa facilities on offer. Why not book yourself in for a facial, body treatments or a relaxing massage? Or simply make use of the sauna, Turkish bath and relaxation room for a bit of rest and relaxation. The outdoor swimming pool is Olympic sized and is dotted with sun loungers and parasols to ensure you can lie and relax by the water's edge in utmost comfort.

Day5Corsica

Today's excursion will take you beyond the Italian borders to visit another incredibly beautiful and wild island - the visually stunning Corsica. We will take the coach to St.Teresa di Gallura's harbour and here we will board a boat that will take us to Bonifacio on the island of Corsica. The fourth largest island in the Mediterranean, Corsica is home to immense geographical diversity and is an absolute feast for the eyes, from its mountainous backdrop to its coastline, edged with glittering turquoise waters and white sand beaches, to its lush valleys and tropical-like dense forests.
From the port, we will board the "Petit Train" which offers an enjoyable and picturesque jaunt to the upper town. Here, we will be taken on a short walking tour, to get a feel for the area before taking the opportunity to explore at your leisure. You can take some time to enjoy some lunch perhaps and simple wander, taking in the unique atmosphere resulting in a meeting of different cultures and languages. Corsica truly is a place unlike any other.
Afterwards we will return once again to the gorgeous coast, to take the boat back to our base on the island of Sardinia.

Day6-7At Your Leisure

You now have a couple of days to spend at your leisure which can mean taking the time to relax and recharge your batteries or if you want to do some more exploration on your own schedule. The beach lies just 600 metres away from your fabulous hotel which is based in the town of Cannigione. The town used to be a fishing village and now there are some good restaurants, markets and shops around to keep you busy but it is the pure white sands of the beautiful beaches that make this place the ideal destination for some rest and relaxation after a few days of jam-packed excursions.

Day8Return home

Your coach will pick you up for your transfer to Olbia Airport, where you will take your returning flight back to Dublin.
