A lakeside retreat that feels effortless, combining comfort, wellness, and that unmistakable Garda feeling from the moment you arrive.
Hotel Continental Wellness & Spa is a calm, polished lakeside retreat on the Sirmione peninsula, where everything is set up for an easy switch-off. Expect a relaxed, grown-up feel, with inviting outdoor pool areas, lake views that immediately slow the pace, and thoughtful spaces to sit back with a drink and watch the light change over the water.
Wellness is a real focus here. The spa element adds that extra layer of comfort after a day out, whether you’re in the mood for a gentle reset or simply want a quieter, more restorative hotel to come back to. It’s the sort of place that suits guests who like their holidays relaxed and well looked after rather than busy and over-planned.
Sirmione itself is one of Lake Garda’s most atmospheric spots, with a beautiful historic centre, cobbled lanes, little cafés, and that classic peninsula walk where the lake is always beside you. You can wander to the castle, browse small shops, stop for gelato, then keep going towards the Roman ruins at the tip, with postcard views the whole way.
It’s an ideal base for enjoying Sirmione properly, without rushing. Start with an early stroll along the water, spend the late morning exploring the old town, then drift back for a slower afternoon by the lake. When you do fancy going further, you’re well placed for boat trips and easy excursions around the southern lake, with Verona close enough for a beautifully simple day out.
This property is offered on a Half Board basis. Dinner is 4 course.
The hotel sits in a wonderfully walkable spot on the Sirmione peninsula, making it easy to dip in and out of the historic centre whenever you fancy. From here, it’s just a short stroll to Castello Scaligero, with a lovely lakeside walk along the way and plenty of cafés for an easy stop en route.
Born and raised in the area of Franciacorta, I grew up surrounded by the glorious landscapes and vineyards, for which the area is well-known. Other than harvesting grapes for the production of my family’s own wine, some of my fondest childhood memories come from spending time at Lake Garda. Whether it’s cycling, climbing or windsurfing, I just can’t get enough of the activities around Lake Garda. At the end of the day, you’ll always find me in a lakeside café, admiring the views and sipping an Aperol Spritz in the sunshine. That to me, is paradise.
My name is Lynsey and I have huge passion for both winter and summer sports, having worked for Topflight for over 10 years in Austria, France, Andorra and Italy. As an avid skier and snowboarder, you'll find me making the most of slopes during the winter months and in the summer I swap my skis for sandals to enjoy all that Lake Garda has to offer. I couldn’t possibly choose which season I prefer, I’ve skied since I was 5 years old and I can never get enough but there’s also something really magical about the spending the summer on Lake Garda.
