See ourThe Fischerwirt is a traditional, warm and welcoming, family-run hotel located in the very heart of the lively Zell am See.
The ideal, central location is one of the Hotel Fischerwirt’s real selling points, but once you get inside, you’ll also experience wonderful, traditional Austrian decor and a truly warm welcome, with great service from staff. Based in the very heart of the pedestrianised centre of Zell am See, a stay at this hotel means that you get easy access to the character of the city and its traditional Austrian streets. It is based just a two minute walk away from the lake’s edge and 6 minutes from the Schmittenhöhe cable car, so hitting the slopes is a doddle.
A family-run hotel, the Fischerwirt is awash with charm and history. You can enjoy a delicious rich buffet breakfast each morning and in the evening time, after a day of activity, a 4 course meal in the cosy, traditional restaurant. The hotel’s chefs take care to produce dishes that are typical of the region but also offer some fantastic international cuisine too.
If you are in need of some r&r during your stay, the hotel has a sauna and infrared cabin to ease those ski-weary muscles. And if you are looking for even more indulgence, you can access the wellness area of the Fischerwirt’s partner hotel across the street, payable locally. There is a glass passageway connecting the two hotels and you can make use of a heated indoor and outdoor pool, a steam bath, hot whirlpool as well as massages and other treatments.
This property is offered on a Half Board basis. Dinner is 4 course. Buffet breakfast is included. Special Christmas and New Year dinner is included.
