From the chocolate box buildings dotted throughout the resort and the Alpine-styled architecture that lines the snow-blanketed streets, to the spectacular surrounds of the French Alps, the fairytale-esque village of Arc 1950 turns heads from the moment travellers arrive.
Not just a pretty face, however, the pedestrianised village is ski in, ski out, and located smack-bang on the pistes. Simply leave your accommodation in the morning, and ski directly down to Arc 1800, or hop on the free Cabriolet gondola, which links Arc 1950 to Arc 2000. With a 425km stretch of ski worthy pistes, the area of Paradiski has something for everyone. Beginners and intermediates can head towards the easier pistes that surround Arc 1800, and those seeking more challenging runs can head towards Arc 2000, and beyond, for more advanced runs. Boarders will be happy to hear that they can hone their skills at Apocalypse Parc, a popular snowboarding park, which lies between Arc 1600 and Arc 1800.
The smallest and quietest of the Arcs, 1950 was designed with families in mind. The car-free resort boasts two nursery slopes, a superb ski school, a kids’ club, and an entertainment programme, which offers a wide range of activities for children of all ages, including marshmallows parties, sled dog shows, Wii tournaments, and much more! Plus, the compact layout of the village means everything is situated within a snowball’s throw of your accommodation.
Booking with Topflight means you can choose from a variety of superb accommodation in Arc 1950. Looking for the ultimate home away from home experience? Our catered, apartment-style chalets, located in the 5 Star Source de Marie Residence, are for you. Prefer to do your own thing? Stay in the beautiful Arc 1950 Le Village apartments, located right in the heart of the resort.
After a day of exertion, excitement and entertainment, choose from a range of restaurants in the village, serving a variety of cuisine, and for a well-deserved, post slope tipple, pop into one of the many bars in the area. In the mood for a spot of rest and relaxation? Then pay a visit to the outdoor, heated swimming pools, saunas, steam rooms and hot tubs. And for those looking for that added touch of luxury, there is also a fantastic spa, where you can indulge in some first rate treatments.
Fancy exploring further afield? Topflight recommends taking the short trip, on the Cabriolet gondola, to Arc 2000. Here you’ll find a selection of restaurants and bars, an ice rink, an arcade and even a bowling alley! You can also visit the resort’s Igloo village, where you’ll find an ice sculpture gallery, restaurant and bars. Don’t miss out on visiting the spectacular ice bar, where everything is carved from ice - quite the experience!

Welcome to France! My name is Lynsey, and I have been working for Topflight over 6-years in Austria, Italy and France. During the summer months you can find me on Lake Garda enjoying watersports, the sunshine and sampling the best of the local cuisine. In winter, I swap my sandals for skis and am happily based in the heart of the French Alps. I have a huge passion for skiing and snowboarding - having learned how to ski when I was 5 years old in Westendorf - and have skied in various resorts across France, Italy, Austria, Switzerland and even at home in Scotland. Our excellent team is here to ensure that you make the very most of your well-earned ski holiday, so please come to us if you have any questions.
