If you’re looking for centrally located hotel, close to the historic centre, the main square and pretty much everything that guests love Sorrento for, you've found it in the Hotel Astoria.
Everything that keeps guests returning to Sorrento, year after year, is just a short and very beautiful walk away. It is just minutes from the harbour, close to the beach, a stone’s throw from great restaurants and next to beautiful winding streets filled with shops and bars. Just step outside to begin discovering the wonders and beauty of Sorrento.
The rooms in the Hotel Astoria are simply decorated and comfortable and are well equipped with WiFi and a flat screen satellite TV. The balconies allow guests to sit outside in the sunshine and spend some time people watching. The relaxing sun terrace is also wonderful addition to the hotel as you can sit and relax with a book, on one of the loungers provided and enjoy the sun sinking into your skin. Guests can take a quick dip to cool down in the small plunge pool and are also welcome to make use of the larger pool located at the Hotel Ascot which is just a five minute walk away.
Guests of the Hotel Astoria are invited to enjoy a complimentary, 3 course evening meal in Restaurant Il Borgo, during their stay. Guests will be picked up at the hotel and whisked off to enjoy some wonderful authentic Italian food, amidst some great views from the restaurant's terrace. A real treat!
Please note: Due to the central location of this hotel, there will be a short walk on arrival, from the bus, through the pedestrianised pathways to the hotel.
This property is offered on a Bed & Breakfast basis. Buffet breakfast is included.
One of the biggest attractions of the Hotel Astoria is its absolutely fantastic location. For those who like to be in the heart of the action, it is smack bang in the middle of the historical centre of Sorrento with all of its bars, cafés, restaurants and shops just a few minutes walk away. Also close by are the main square, the port and the railway station, if you fancy venturing further afield.
As one of Topflight’s longest-serving resort managers, Lindsey has lived in Sorrento for 38 years and knows the surrounding region like the back of her hand. Speaking of Sorrento she says "the whole area has so much culture, history, beauty, friendly locals and of course 9 months of sunshine, so what’s not to love!" Lindsey's not to miss are the Amalfi coast drive & Capri for the sheer beauty and a taste of la Dolce Vita.
Lorna couldn’t miss developing a love for all things Italian. Her Italian mum ensured that during childhood she was brought up enjoying the best of Italian food alongside frequent visits to her mother’s homeland. She has 30 years experience as a rep with 18 of these spent in Sorrento, her home now. Lorna says "all of the area is spectacular so either Capri or Amalfi excursions for sightseeing and Pompeii or Herculaneum for a little bit of history is a must."
Wendy first came to Sorrento on holiday years ago where she fell in love and later was married in a tiny church overlooking the beautiful Bay of Naples "I love everything about the Neapolitan way of life: The local food, regional wines, ancient traditions, myths, legends and vibrant atmosphere.
