With the castle beside it, the historic old town at its door and a natural thermal spa within, the Grand Hotel Terme has the best of Sirmione at hand.
The Grand Hotel Terme Sirmione enjoys a magnificent position right on the shores of Lake Garda, at the very entrance to the historic centre of Sirmione, with the moated Scaligero Castle rising just beside it. An elegant and gracious hotel with a long association with the famous thermal springs of Sirmione, it offers a wonderfully restful setting in one of the most celebrated spots on the entire lake.
The bedrooms are spacious and refined, many finished with warm wooden floors and opening onto a balcony or terrace, with a number enjoying beautiful views over the lake or the castle. Each room combines timeless elegance with modern comforts, including air conditioning, a satellite television and a complimentary minibar, while the suites offer additional space and a greater sense of indulgence.
At the heart of the hotel lies its crowning glory, a lake-front thermal pool fed by Sirmione's naturally warm, sulphurous waters and open all year round, with sweeping views towards the castle. Access to the thermal spa is included for guests, who can also enjoy a sauna, steam room and tranquil relaxation areas, a lake-view lounge and a fully equipped gym, along with a full menu of soothing massages and beauty treatments.
Dining is an elegant affair, with a restaurant celebrated for its refined Italian cuisine and a carefully chosen wine list, and breakfast served with lovely views over the water. It is the perfect way to begin or round off a day of relaxation and gentle exploration.
Sirmione is among Lake Garda's most enchanting destinations, a slender peninsula reaching out into the southern lake and crowned by its thirteenth-century castle. The cobbled lanes of the old town begin just steps from the hotel, while the Roman ruins of the Grotte di Catullo sit towards the tip of the peninsula, and the thermal springs for which Sirmione has been renowned since antiquity are close at hand.
This property is offered on a Bed & Breakfast basis.
The Grand Hotel Terme Sirmione stands on Viale Guglielmo Marconi, directly on the lake at the entrance to Sirmione's historic centre, with the Scaligero Castle right beside it. The pedestrianised old town begins just steps from the door, with the Roman ruins of the Grotte di Catullo towards the tip of the peninsula.
Originally from Milan, I joined Topflight in 2013 as a Representative at Linate Airport, assisting student groups and teachers during their arrivals and departures. In 2017, I transitioned to the role of Overseas Concierge for Topflight's Crafted For You guests, where I continued to grow and develop my skills. During a year spent in Dublin studying at Trinity College, I formed a strong connection with Ireland and its people, creating happy memories that I cherish. Now, as we gear up for a new summer season, I'm excited to help our guests have an unforgettable holiday.
My name is Lynsey and I have huge passion for both winter and summer sports, having worked for Topflight for over 10 years in Austria, France, Andorra and Italy. As an avid skier and snowboarder, you'll find me making the most of slopes during the winter months and in the summer I swap my skis for sandals to enjoy all that Lake Garda has to offer. I couldn’t possibly choose which season I prefer, I’ve skied since I was 5 years old and I can never get enough but there’s also something really magical about the spending the summer on Lake Garda.
Born and raised in the area of Franciacorta, I grew up surrounded by the glorious landscapes and vineyards, for which the area is well-known. Other than harvesting grapes for the production of my family’s own wine, some of my fondest childhood memories come from spending time at Lake Garda. Whether it’s cycling, climbing or windsurfing, I just can’t get enough of the activities around Lake Garda. At the end of the day, you’ll always find me in a lakeside café, admiring the views and sipping an Aperol Spritz in the sunshine. That to me, is paradise.
Hi. I’m Rich - by name, not by nature! I’ve spent over 20 years in tour operations, working my way up from a humble Resort Rep to an Area Operations Manager for some of the UK’s largest tour operators. My real passion is the great outdoors. I’ve clocked up over 18 winter seasons living in the mountains. When I'm not skiing, you can usually find me hiking with my handsome Australian Shepherd, Koa. Combining work and pleasure around Europe is the absolute perfect scenario for me. Whether you are hitting the slopes or relaxing in the sun, the team and I are here to help you make the most of your time. We want to ensure you have the most memorable holiday possible. Please feel free to reach out anytime via WhatsApp, a quick call, or an email if you need any advice, help, or local suggestions.
