— Gerard stayed in Grand Hotel Riva, Riva in July 2018
Romance and elegance go hand in hand at the Grand Hotel Riva. Its modern furnishings and warm ambience, as well as the exceptional lake views from its sublime rooftop restaurant, are something to behold.
This elegant, art nouveau hotel serves up lashings of contemporary style and comfort, without losing any of its original style and charm. It is perfectly located for guests to saunter outside and explore the beauty of the area at their leisure. You can stroll from the hotel through the historic centre, exploring all the lovely artisan shops, art galleries and chic boutiques and don't forget the weekly open air market.
Rooms are modern and bright and the perfect base in which to relax after a great day of sightseeing, sunbathing, and sourcing some seriously great food and drink! Should you wish to do a little more r&r, you can head to the hotel spa, where you’ll find saunas, a steam bath and massage treatments. Or indeed sip a cocktail in the hotel’s lounge bar!
Grand Hotel Riva is a great choice for couples and families are well catered for too, with children's menus, bed rails and high chairs available on request.
This property is offered on a Bed & Breakfast basis. Half Board is available at a supplement.
Step outside and you're in the resort centre, right opposite the Venetian Castle of La Rocca and only steps from the lake shore.
Malcolm has worked for the Topflight Travel Group for 4 winter seasons in the French alps. As a keen skier and cyclist he loves the outdoors and is excited to spend the summer on Lake Garda. Malcolm's not to miss experiences are a trip around Sirmione and a ride on the breathtaking Monte Baldo cable car in Malcesine. "Whether it's indulging in one of the many activities around lake or relaxing by the lakeside with an aperitivo in one of the many waterfront restaurants - Lake Garda is a great summer destination."
My name is Jordan but most people call me Jordie. I was born and raised on the north coast of Ireland, where you will usually find me in the water either surfing or wakeboarding. I fell in love with the mountains on my first ski trip when I was a child and those same feelings are still there over 20 years later. When I travel I love to immerse myself in the local culture and understand a place as if it were my second home. So with that, I look forward to welcoming you to Lake Garda to show you all of the wonderful things it has to offer, and working alongside you to give you and your companions a holiday to remember.
With a passion for both winter and summer sports, Lynsey has worked for Topflight for over 9 years in Austria, France and Italy. During the winter months she is based in the heart of the French Alps and in the summer she swaps her skis for sandals to enjoy all that Lake Garda has to offer. “I couldn’t possibly choose which season I prefer, I’ve skied since I was 5 years old and I can never get enough but there’s something really magical about the summer on Lake Garda. I truly believe there is something here for everyone and that’s part of what makes it so special.”
