— Gerardine stayed in Hotel Alpino, Malcesine in August 2018
You reps were excellent and booking agent Yvonne at travel counselors was just brilliant.
— Ann stayed in Hotel Alpino, Malcesine in June 2018
Offering fantastic value and primely positioned in the centre of the beautiful resort of Malcesine, the Hotel Alpino is just a stone’s throw from the shores of the lake and the famous medieval Castle Scaligeri.
A family-run hotel, it is renowned for its welcoming and helpful staff who take pride in ensuring that your stay is as pleasant as it can be. You can expect friendly, efficient and always helpful service.
The fantastic location of this hotel also gets some major kudos. Right in the centre of Malcesine town, you don’t have to venture far to explore the wonderful mazes of narrow cobbled streets that wind through the town, leading to a pebble beach and unspoilt harbour surrounded by restaurants, cafés and shops.
The hotel’s restaurant serves up some some really lovely food, in particular their delicious pizza. You are invited to sit on the terrace, enjoying your delicious authentic Italian food and perhaps some great wine to accompany.
Hotel Alpino offers comfortable, well-maintained rooms and provide a more than adequate base for your Lake Garda stay.
This property is offered on a Bed & Breakfast basis.
Smack bang in the centre of Malcesine, just a couple of minutes walk from the beach and a 4 minute walk from The Scaliger Castle of Malcesine.
Please note: Due to its central location, it is not possible for your transfer to drop you directly at the door of the hotel, so a short, less than 3 minute walk downhill is required.
Hello, I'm Malcolm. This will be my 4th summer season at Lake Garda for Topflight. I originally hail from the west coast of Scotland and spend my winters in France. I love anything and everything outdoorsy, but especially cycling and skiing! There's nothing quite like sharing a pizza and a few drinks after a sunny day on the lake! I am here to ensure you have a fantastic time with on hoilday with us. Whether you are looking for some local info on the best spots to visit or a well earned Aperol Spritz at the end of the day, I'll be on hand to deal with any queries or questions you may have during your stay.
Born and raised in the area of Franciacorta, I grew up surrounded by the glorious landscapes and vineyards, for which the area is well-known. Other than harvesting grapes for the production of my family’s own wine, some of my fondest childhood memories come from spending time at Lake Garda. Whether it’s cycling, climbing or windsurfing, I just can’t get enough of the activities around Lake Garda. At the end of the day, you’ll always find me in a lakeside café, admiring the views and sipping an Aperol Spritz in the sunshine. That to me, is paradise.
Hi. I’m Rich - by name, not by nature! I’ve spent over 20 years in tour operations, working my way up from a humble Resort Rep to an Area Operations Manager for some of the UK’s largest tour operators. My real passion is the great outdoors. I’ve clocked up over 18 winter seasons living in the mountains. When I'm not skiing, you can usually find me hiking with my handsome Australian Shepherd, Koa. Combining work and pleasure around Europe is the absolute perfect scenario for me. Whether you are hitting the slopes or relaxing in the sun, the team and I are here to help you make the most of your time. We want to ensure you have the most memorable holiday possible. Please feel free to reach out anytime via WhatsApp, a quick call, or an email if you need any advice, help, or local suggestions.
