Cuba is the Caribbean’s largest and most populous island. It is a place of stunning natural beauty, with magnificent mountain ranges sweeping down to fertile plains where sugar cane and tobacco grow. It also boasts some of the best beaches in the world.

The spirit of Cuba is perhaps best felt in its music and dance. This is the home of the modern rumba, the mamba and, of course, the salsa. Take a salsa lesson with the experts here and don’t be surprised if you find yourself dancing on the streets or on the beach as well as the lively nightclubs.

Lavish Spanish colonial architecture contrasts with imposing communist squares, and sublime beaches, teeming coral reefs, verdant plantations and impressive mountains make the island a must-visit. Cuba’s turbulent history weaves a fascinating tale from Spanish colonial rule and the slave trade to Batista’s dictatorship and Castro’s revolution. This is mirrored in its vibrant culture, arts and music.

Why Cuba?

It is the unexpected treasures and contradictory curiosities that make exploring Cuba such an exciting and exhilarating experience. Between the unique atmosphere of the city of Havana and the idyllic beach of Varadero, Cuba is a destination like no other, trapped in a time warp and brimming with creativity and friendliness.

Havana
A quarter of Cuba’s 11 million people live in and around the capital of Havana. With its long history of wars and revolution, this is an intoxicating city, a fine monument to its Spanish colonial past and today a UNESCO World Heritage site. It’s a great place to wander through the streets, sipping coffee at an outdoor café and soaking up the atmosphere, but it’s worth taking time to check out the museums, a cigar factory and the beautiful craft markets.
Varadero
With 20km of powder-white sand stretching along the Peninsula de Hicacos, this is Cuba’s primary beach resort and one of the longest in the Caribbean. It’s a fantastic holiday if you’re looking for romance, relaxation and all-inclusive accommodation with as much or as little activity as you want.
City and Beach
When in Cuba, why not enjoy a two-centre holiday, spending three nights in the buzzing capital of Havana and a further seven nights on the sunny shores of Varadero? It’s the best of both worlds and we’d be happy to take care of all the details, leaving you free to relax and enjoy your tropical adventure!
