Your Holiday Itinerary

Day1Fly to Munich

Fly direct from Dublin to Munich. You will be met at the airport by Topflight’s representative and transferred by coach to St.Johann where you will stay for 7 nights in the Hotel Tyrol. This welcoming hotel has become a firm favourite with Topflight guests over the years.

Day2St.Johann Walkabout

Today, you will join our guide on an entertaining and informative walk through St.Johann. Enjoy a stroll through the town, and get a sense of what the area has to offer. Learn about some of the history of this charming village and see its many highlights.

Day3At your leisure

Today, St.Johann is your oyster! Why not take the short stroll from your hotel to the cable car and make your way up the stunning mountain to visit one of the many mountain restaurants!

Day4Hidden Lakes

This is a delightful tour of some of the lesser-known lakes surrounding the Wilder Kaiser Mountain range. You will begin your tour in the picturesque Kaiserbachtal, before a stop at Walchsee Lake, and then onto the remote lake of Hechtsee, above the town of Kufstein. Here, you can stroll about this beautiful lake at your leisure or enjoy the views from the cafe's terrace, overlooking the lake. Next, continue on via the beautiful Rein Valley lakes to the medieval town of Rattenberg. Don't forget your camera – this tour is a photographer's delight!

Day5At your leisure

Another day to enjoy the surrounds of St.Johann at your own pace! Topflight recommends taking a trip to the Panorama Badewelt, a superb leisure center, which lies less than a 15 minute walk from the hotel. Here, you'll find a large, indoor pool, a fantastic outdoor pool, and a spa area, which features saunas, steam baths, and massage treatments! There is also a beautiful solarium, boasting splendid surrounding views, should you wish to catch a few Austrian rays!

Day6Salzburg

Spend the day exploring Salzburg – home of Mozart and The Sound of Music – at your own pace. From Unesco-listed Alstadt with it's breathtaking fortress, baroque churches, spires and domes to a bustling modern city with wonderful food, concert halls and parks, you won't be short of activities on your full day excursion to Salzburg. If you wish, you can book an optional city tour in Salzburg, which is accompanied by a local city guide.

Day7At your leisure

Enjoy a well earned rest at your hotel. Perhaps you'd like take the short train journey (just under ten minutes!) to the glitzy resort of Kitzbühel. Step back in time by paying a visit to the Kitzbühel Museum, do a spot of people watching at one of the many cafés, or indeed, try your luck at the town's casino!

Day8Return home

Transfer to Munich airport for your return flight home.
