From the beautiful beach resort on the sun-soaked shores of Lido di Jesolo, set out on an adventure each day to discover the Dolomiti town of Cortina, the wonderful Lake Garda and two of Italy's most famous cities, Venice and Verona.
Depart on a direct flight to Verona airport where you will be met by your Topflight's Resort Manager. You will be transferred, by coach to the Hotel Miami, set in the very heart of Lido di Jesolo. The hotel comprises of two buildings separated by a good-sized swimming pool and is just a short stroll from the beach in one direction and the town centre in the other.
Today you can get to know the town of Lido di Jesolo in the Venetian Riviera. The gloriously golden beaches, the crystal blue waters, the long pedestrian shopping area, the vast array of stellar attractions - yes, there’s a reason why this Venetian Riviera resort has been attracting holidaymakers to its shores for decades. Its heavenly, 15km stretch of golden Blue Flag beach is highly equipped to allow you to enjoy a full day of sunbathing without having to venture too far from your sun spot. And for those craving some holiday retail therapy, head straight for Lido's long pedestrianised shopping area.
This morning, you will be picked up from your hotel and taken to the port, from where you will take a private boat ride to Venice. You will enjoy a guided visit of the Floating City, taking in famous sights, such as the Basilica, Bridge of Sighs, and Rialto Bridge. You will have free time to lunch and wander the boutiques and quaint restaurants that line the narrow, labyrinthine back streets of this enchanting city.
In the afternoon, board a private boat and sail the Venetian lagoon, stopping off at Murano island, famous for its glass ornaments. Here, you will be able to see a glassmith at work, and of course, have the opportunity to buy some stunning souvenirs! We will also stop at Burano island, famous for its lace and pretty, colourful houses. You will have some free time to explore the island's wonderful lace shops and its pretty little streets, after which you will head back by boat to Lido, and board the coach back to your hotel.
Enjoy the contrasting splendour of city and lake, with today's jam-packed tour! This morning, you will be picked up by your coach and taken to Verona, the setting for Shakespeare’s romantic tragedy, Romeo and Juliet. Standing on the banks of the River Adige, Verona is a city rich in history, art and architecture. Today you will enjoy a guided visit with an official city tour guide, where you’ll see the famous Arena, renowned for its opera, Juliet’s balcony and other key sights along the way.
You will then take the coach to Sirmione. One of the most picturesque resorts on Lake Garda, its traffic-free streets, chic pavement cafés and elegant shops are all dominated by the impressive castle, perched proudly at the entrance to the medieval town. You will have time to stroll around this marvellous town at your own leisure, and enjoy some great food for lunch at one of its many restaurants.
Today, you will be picked up from your hotel by coach, and brought to the picturesque resort of Cortina, nestled amid the beautiful Dolomite mountains. Cortina is renowned as the site of the 1956 Winter Olympics, but this is more than just a ski resort. Its old-world charm and quaint beauty is undeniable, thanks to its stone church spires and cascading piazzas, all framed by majestic mountains. It boasts great shops and restaurants, and today, you will have time to explore it at your own leisure. We suggest taking the cable car, payable locally, up to the top of the mountain for some lunch and a hearty side of incredible views.
Still thirsty for more excursions? We suggest booking a full day excursion to the medieval Veneto city of Treviso. You will have some free time to explore its pretty canals and frescoed churches, before heading to a wine tasting at a winery in the surrounding area.
Or if you'd prefer to simply take it easy and enjoy your final day in the lovely Lido di Jesolo, this is certainly a great option.
After breakfast, board your coach and transfer to Verona airport for your return flight home.

For Mary it’s all about love! She has been married to an Italian for 41 years and simply loves Jesolo. Having worked for Topflight for 17 years, she says "I've loved being a resort manager, have met lots of lovely people, some of which I keep in touch with after many years. My favorite excursion is Cortina and the Dolomites, I go whenever I can. And of course, we are so lucky here in Jesolo to have Venice on our doorstep".
Don first visited Jesolo and the Veneto area over 40 years ago and has returned every year since. In this time, Don has gained a wealth of knowledge about the region and is keen to share this love and enthusiasm with you. Like the rest of Italy, the Venetian Republic is steeped in tradition, culture and history. Don looks forward to welcoming you and sharing some of his favourite spots to enjoy the local cuisine and world-renowned wines.
