Located in the very heart of Sorrento, this welcoming hotel is just a few steps away from the main square, Piazza Tasso. You literally only have to step outside to drink-in the atmosphere of this beautiful town, as energetic as it is enchanting.
Within Sorrento, the shops and stores of the Corso Italia, the historic old town's picturesque alleys and the town's many fine restaurants and bars are all on your doorstep. And don't forget all the great attractions further afield, as Grand Hotel Cesare Augusto is also a great starting point to visit Capri, Pompeii, Naples, Herculaneum and other attractions of the wider region.
The hotel itself boasts a beautiful rooftop terrace with a rooftop pool - really quite the treat considering you are right in the centre of the town. You can relax on one of the sun loungers dotted by the poolside and admire views over the Bay of Naples from a superb vantage point. And if the Sorrentine heat gets too much, take a quick dip or enjoy an icy cool drink. If you prefer to be by the sea, the beach is only a very scenic, ten minute walk away.
Bedrooms are bright and comfortably furnished and come complete with air conditioning, satellite TV and a minibar. Most rooms also have a balcony so you can have your own little outdoor space to wake up to each morning.
This property is offered on a Half Board basis. Buffet breakfast is included. Dinner is 3 course.
Location is everything with this hotel. Boasting a prime position in the heart of the city, the Grand Hotel Cesare Augusto is just a hop, skip and a jump from Piazza Tasso, the main square of Sorrento and is a very beautiful 15-20 minute walk to the beach.

Speaking of Sorrento she says "the whole area has so much culture, history, beauty, friendly locals and of course 9 months of sunshine, so what’s not to love!" Lindsey's not to miss are the Amalfi coast drive & Capri for the sheer beauty and a taste of la Dolce Vita.
Lorna couldn’t miss developing a love for all things Italian. Her Italian mum ensured that during childhood she was brought up enjoying the best of Italian food alongside frequent visits to her mother’s homeland. She has 30 years experience as a rep with 18 of these spent in Sorrento, her home now. Lorna says "all of the area is spectacular so either Capri or Amalfi excursions for sightseeing and Pompeii or Herculaneum for a little bit of history is a must."
Wendy first came to Sorrento on holiday years ago where she fell in love and later was married in a tiny church overlooking the beautiful Bay of Naples "I love everything about the Neapolitan way of life: The local food, regional wines, ancient traditions, myths, legends and vibrant atmosphere. Above all, the Neapolitan philosophy... 'Carpe Diem'..."
