Your Holiday Itinerary

Day1Fly from Dublin, Cork or Belfast to Verona

You will be met at the airport in Verona this evening by Topflight’s Resort Manager. You will take a 90-minute journey, via air-conditioned coach, to the lovely Hotel Garda Bellevue Wellness, where you will stay for 7 nights on a half board basis.

Surrounded by lemon groves, the hotel is welcoming and homely and provides a quiet spot in which to relax during your stay. The hotel’s restaurant offers plenty of variety and specialises in traditional Italian fare that guests just love.

Day2At Your Leisure

You have the day to fully relax and perhaps make use of the wonderful facilities of your hotel. The Garda Bellevue Wellness Hotel consists of a wealth of facilities for those who feel like taking it easy. A large outdoor pool provides a great place for cooling down from the hot Italian sunshine and the sun terrace offers guests comfortable sun loungers in order to lie, relax and let the sun sink into their skin. There is also a wellness centre consisting of a large indoor pool with whirlpool, turkish bath and sauna which is perfect for recharging the batteries at the end of the day.

Day3Venice

This morning, you will be picked up after breakfast from your hotel, to enjoy a scenic coach journey to Venice, where you will take a guided visit of the Floating City. The tour includes a motorboat ride along the Giudecca Canal to, taking in the sights, then continues on foot to the Rialto Bridge, a marvellous feat of engineering.

You will have free time for lunch and will have no problem finding a tasty spot to dine upon some great Venetian fare. You will also have the oppurtunity to wander the boutiques and quaint shops that line the narrow, labyrinthine back streets of this enchanting city. Should you wish to do more, a gondola ride or sightseeing cruise on the lagoon are payable locally. Return to the coach on private motorboat, passing St. George’s Island, home to one of the architectural glories of Venice, the majestic Church of San Giorgio Maggiore.

Day4At Your Leisure

If today, you feel like venturing out to discover the beautiful Limone, you’re in for a treat. Traditionally a small fishing village, it is now a busy town with a spectacular waterfront and picturesque harbour. You can stroll through its cobbled streets lined with shops selling shoes, leather goods and souvenirs, stopping off for a cappuccino at a pavement café in an old piazza. For an interesting glimpse into the heritage of the village, check out the old lemon houses and olive oil mills, and the ancient churches which display beautiful examples of Romanesque art and architecture.

On Tuesdays, you'll also find a local farmer's market. There is fresh fish, fruit and vegetables on offer as well as some unique speciality sausages and cheeses, all available at great prices. It runs from 8:00am - 1:00pm, so get there early and take in the bustling atmosphere and maybe pick up some local produce to try.

Day5Lake Garda Tour

Enjoy a fascinating tour around the largest lake in Italy. The day will start from your resort where we will pick you up by bus and a guide will tell you all about Lake Garda en route to your first stop, Salo. Afterwards, you'll take a pleasent boat trip to Sirmione where you will have 2 hours to spend at your leisure. The tour concludes with a brief stop in Lazise before returning to Limone by coach.

Day6Wine Tasting Tour

Late in the morning, you will be picked up from your hotel by your coach, which will take you to a typical Italian winery. You will learn about the processes involved in producing this regions local wines, popular the world over. Your guide will then invite you to sample some of their finest produce as well as some typical Bardolino cheese and meats which should really enhance the flavours.

You will then be brought to the second vineyard of the day where you will be able to taste the wine produced and compare to those you tasted earlier in the day.

After you’ve learned about and sampled some of the best wines on offer, you will be returned to your hotel in time for your evening meal and to spend the rest of the night how you wish.

Day7At Your Leisure

Choose to relax on Lake Garda's beautiful shores and soak up its majestic scenery or decided to explore a bit more. The day is yours to take at your own pace.

Day8Return home

This morning, you will check out after breakfast and be transferred to the airport to catch your return flight back to Dublin.
