Your Holiday Itinerary

Day1-2 Rome, Italy

Today you will fly to Rome, where you be transferred to the Venetia Palace Hotel, where you will stay for two nights before your cruise. This gives you just enough time to discover the magical city of Rome.

With two and a half thousand years of history, art and culture, it is no wonder Rome is one of the most visited cities on the planet, so make the most of your time here! Gaze at the masterpieces of the Vatican or walk into the past with visits to ancient relics, historic monuments and legendary museums. Take the Hop on, Hop off bus tour to ensure that you are taking in all that the city has to offer.

Day3 Board the Sky Princess

Bid farewell to your Roman home and you will be transferred to the port to begin your journey among the seas. When you arrive to your port you will board the fabulous Emerald Princess. You will be amazed by its grandeur and luxury and today you can familiarise yourself with all it has to offer and make yourself at home.

Day4 Livorno, Italy

Livorno is a one of the most important ports in Italy. Discover its colourful history and seafood that is famed to be the best on the Tyrrhenian coast. While away the hours discovering the historic quarter, laced with extravagant architecture and Venetian style canals. Or take a bus to Florence, just over an hour from Livorno, but well worth it to explore the entire city by foot and discover its mind blowing Renaissance art and architecture. Pisa and Rome are also a short distance by train from this port, so you’ll be spoilt for choice on this part of your exciting journey.

Day5 Genoa, Italy

As Italy’s largest sea port, Genoa has a buzzing and lively atmosphere. Explore its rich history, fascinating culture and contemporary architecture. Stroll through the narrow laneways in its old city – located only a short stroll from the port – which has been rejuvenated with modern shops, restaurants and bars. If you haven't had enough of sea life just yet, Topflight recommends taking the 15 minute walk to the aquarium, which is the largest in Europe!

Day6 Toulon, France

Toulon is a port city on southern France’s Mediterranean coast, lined with sandy beaches and shingle coves. You can spend the day here wandering the streets, stopping for coffee in one of the many squares and perusing the many shops. You may also be tempted to take a tour to beautiful Provence, known for its diverse and beautiful landscapes. From the southern Alps and Camargue plains to rolling vineyards, olive groves, lucious pine forests and stunning and fragrant lavender fields. But with all this lush countryside there is also the contrasting beaches to spend the day lazily sunbathing on and taking in the gorgeous surroundings.

Day7 At Sea

Today you will have time to spend as you wish on board your cruise ship, discovering all of its fantastic facilities. With so much to do, so many places to eat and drink and so many ways to unwind, you’ll find that on your cruise holiday, the journey is just as enjoyable as exploring the destination.

Day8 Gibraltar

Gibraltar on Spain’s south coast is perhaps best known for its ‘Rock of Gibraltar’, a 426 metre high, monolithic limestone promontory which is quite a spectacle to behold. Visitors can take the cable car up the 1,400 ft sheer sided peak for absolutely spectacular views of the town as well as out to Spain and even Africa. As Gibraltar is a British Overseas Territory, it makes for a fascinating blend of cultures, languages and accents.

Day9 At Sea

Another day to make the very most of the amazing facilities on board your cruise ship. Why not dine like a king, with a huge selection of dining areas with a vast array of different foods for all tastes and appetites. Or sip a cocktail in one of the ships elegant bars while enjoying your journey from one fabulous port of call to another.

Day10 Return Home

Barcelona will be your final port of call. From here you will be transferred to the airport, from where you fly back home with a wealth of wonderful memories to treasure.
