    Your Holiday Itinerary

    Day1 Venice, Italy

The most romantic city in the world, the floating city of Venice is one of epic grandeur. Take a gondola ride down the Grand Canal and gaze upon the glorious Venetian architecture lining its banks. Built on a lagoon, this city will surely amaze you. Stroll along the Bridge of Sighs, explore the range of historic sights and wind down with a coffee or a glass of prosecco in the popular St. Mark's Square. Venice has been attracting poets and artists for many years. It is one of Italy's finest cities with a truly inspiring atmosphere.

    Day2 Brindisi, Italy

Once a bridging point for crusading knights and now a not to be missed stop in any Mediterranean cruises, Brindisi invites visitors to while away their time in a bar or restaurant in Brindisi's old town which has a pleasant, almost oriental flavour about it, with a few hidden gems tucked down its narrow streets. Via Colonne, with its seventeenth- and eighteenth-century palazzi, runs up to Brindisi's Duomo – a remarkable building, if only for the fact that it's survived seven earthquakes since its construction in the eleventh century. Just outside is the Museo Archeologico Provinciale. Another of Brindisi's hidden treasures is the tiny, round church of San Giovanni al Sepolcro, an eleventh-century baptistery. It is quite dark and dilapidated but you can just make out some of the original thirteenth-century frescoes.

    Day3 Katakolon, Greece

You will dock at Katakolon today, a tiny seaside town in Greece. There are plenty of waterfront cafés and restaurants to relax in and pass the time in the sunshine but the real draw is the fascinating site of the first Olympic Games in 776 BC. The train station is just a five minute walk from the port and it will take you to the site in around 45 minutes. This is a history lover's dream but the ancient and archaeologically impressive town of Olympia, is sure to amaze just about anyone who visits.

    Day4 Mykonos, Greece

You will get a chance to experience the glamorous resort of Mykonos today. This will give you a true flavour of what the Cyclades islands are really like, with their traditional, whitewashed architecture and maze of narrow streets. There's plenty to see and do during your day of exploration in Mykonos. You can't visit without venturing to one of its beautiful beaches. We advise hopping in a taxi and taking the twenty minute trip to the southern – and ultra picturesque – Super Paradise beach.

    Day5 Piraeus, Greece

Today, we dock at Piraeus, the classical port of Athens. Spend the day here wandering the narrow and winding streets, filled with shops, bars and restaurants, or jump on the bus from the cruise terminal and take the 30-minute journey to Acropolis, the ancient city of Athens. Here, you can explore first rate museums, lively cafés and great restaurants alongside iconic monuments and archaeological sites.

    Day6 Sarande, Albania

Today you will visit the resort of Sarande on the Albanian Riviera. This area is a postcard perfect beach resort with creamy white sands and glistening jewel coloured waters. It lies in between the Ionian Sea and hills of wonderful olive trees and is edged by beaches and a promenade to explore the area from. It is the ideal place to enjoy that beach side relaxation that so many holiday goers crave. But there is also a rich history to the area with the archaeological remains of a 5th-century synagogue with intricate floor mosaics still evident on the hilltop above the town.

    Day7 Dubrovnik, Croatia

Arrive in the walled city of Dubrovnik, Croatia's most popular cruise destination. This unique medieval town will leave you in awe. Stroll through the shaded Old Town, a ten minute drive from the port and get a feel for the city's rich history with its opulent baroque buildings. Set off and explore beautiful quaint boutiques, friendly bars and fabulous restaurants as well as taking in the spectacular views over the ocean as you walk through this beautiful city. Or take it easy and relax by soaking up the sun and the sea air on the beautiful beaches. Cliff side cafés are dotted along the coast line, so after a dip in the sparkling Adriatic sea, you can take a break in one of these charming hangouts.
