We suggest hopping on the shuttle bus, or taking the 20-minute scenic route via the seafront, both of which will take you to the heart of Corfu. Amble the narrow streets that wind their way throughout the historic town center, peruse the quaint boutiques, visit one of the many museums, or simply head to Spianada Square, pull up a chair, order a drink, and watch the world go by.

Today we will dock at the dreamy Kotor, Montenegro's fascinating medieval city. The stunning mountains surrounding the sapphire seas and the historic old town guaranteed this wonderful destination a UNESCO World Heritage status. Take in the the breathtaking views over the peaceful Adriatic, or even dive into adventure and swim, snorkel and kayak to explore the fascinating sea life. For bird watchers, pelicans and flamingos are some of Montenegro's other hidden treasures.

The most romantic city in the world, the floating city of Venice is one of epic grandeur. Take a gondola ride down the Grand Canal and gaze upon the glorious Venetian architecture lining its banks. Built on a lagoon, this city will surely amaze you. Stroll along the Bridge of Sighs, explore the range of historic sights and wind down with a coffee or a glass of prosecco in the popular St. Mark's Square. Venice has been attracting poets and artists for many years. It is one of Italy's finest cities with a truly inspiring atmosphere.

Once a bridging point for crusading knights and now a not to be missed stop in any Mediterranean cruises, Brindisi invites visitors to while away their time in a bar or restaurant in Brindisi's old town which has a pleasant, almost oriental flavour about it, with a few hidden gems tucked down its narrow streets. Via Colonne, with its seventeenth- and eighteenth-century palazzi, runs up to Brindisi's Duomo – a remarkable building, if only for the fact that it's survived seven earthquakes since its construction in the eleventh century. Just outside is the Museo Archeologico Provinciale. Another of Brindisi's hidden treasures is the tiny, round church of San Giovanni al Sepolcro, an eleventh-century baptistery. It is quite dark and dilapidated but you can just make out some of the original thirteenth-century frescoes.

This will give you a true flavour of what the Cyclades islands are really like, with their traditional, whitewashed architecture and maze of narrow streets. There's plenty to see and do during your day of exploration in Mykonos. You can't visit without venturing to one of its beautiful beaches. We advise hopping in a taxi and taking the twenty minute trip to the southern – and ultra picturesque – Super Paradise beach.
