Day2 Naples, Italy

Cruise to Naples, located on Italy's stunning Amalfi coast, a city rich in history. There are plenty of things to do in Naples for the adventurous and not so adventurous wanderer. If you feel like staying close, Naples grand piazzas, cathedrals and castles will keep you thoroughly entertained. It is also highly recommended to hop on the train at Napoli Centrale station, and take the 30-minute trip to the historical wonder that is the ancient city of Pompeii! This huge archaeological site, once a sophisticated Roman city, was preserved under ash and pumice after the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 A.D. Visitors can explore and walk the streets just as the romans did.

Day3 At Sea

Today you will have time to spend as you wish on board your cruise ship, discovering all of its fantastic facilities. With so much to do, so many places to eat and drink and so many ways to unwind, you’ll find that on your cruise holiday, the journey is just as enjoyable as exploring the destination.

Day4 Palma de Mallorca, Spain

For those who have visited Majorca but never ventured beyond Palma Nova or Magaluf, a visit to Palma de Mallorca will be a real eye opener. The place is rich in culture and history with the stunning "Catedral de Mallorca" providing an astonishing backdrop to your days adventure. There are boundless amounts of galleries, restaurants, and bars speckled along the vibrant bohemian streets, all ready to be discovered.

Day5-6 Barcelona, Spain

Today, you arrive in the Catalan capital of Spain. The enchanting seaside city of Barcelona is packed full of culture, brimming with exquisite architecture and laden with superb dining spots. Hop off your ship and stroll towards La Rambla – Barcelona's most famous street – located a 15 minute walk away from the port. From here, you will find a wealth of sights, shops and restaurants to explore. Topflight recommends visiting El Barrio Gótico aka the Gothic Quarter, one of the oldest and most beautiful neighbourhoods in the city. A magical labyrinth of cobblestoned streets, lined with quaint shops, bustling bars and boutique shops, you will find no shortage of things to do here!

Day7 At Sea

Another day to make the very most of the amazing facilities on board your cruise ship. Why not dine like a king, with a huge selection of dining areas with a vast array of different foods for all tastes and appetites. Or sip a cocktail in one of the ships elegant bars while enjoying your journey from one fabulous port of call to another.

Day8 Monte Carlo, Monaco

Next stop Monte Carlo! Synonymous with its upmarket casinos, super yacht lined harbour and the renowned Grand Prix motor race, one of the most glamourous sporting events there is. This is a truly impressive and plush place where both celebs and royalty rub shoulders. On the south side of the port there is a rocky outcrop known as Le Rocher which is home to the royal palace, as well as a rather charming little old town which feels a world away from Monte Carlo's skyscrapers and super yachts and is worth a visit for its quaint and contrasting atmosphere.

Day9 Santa Margherita, Italy

On the Italian Riviera, southeast of Genoa, Santa Margherita oozes quaint Italian charm. Like a scene from a postcard, yachts bob in the harbour and fabulous brightly coloured buildings line the waterfront. Santa Margherita invites visitors to lazily saunter around its romantic pathways and enjoy the picture perfect surroundings. It is a sleepy seaside village that perfectly captures ‘la dolce vita’ in an irresistible way.

Day10 La Spezia, Italy

The port city of La Spezia in Liguria is home to Italy’s largest naval base. This provides a wealth of fascinating sites including the Technical Naval Museum, with its ship models and navigational instruments. The city’s seafaring heritage is not all that the area has to offer however. The old town boasts beautiful winding streets and a wonderful atmosphere with its plentiful trattorias allowing visitors to experience ‘la dolce vita’ and a taste of some of Liguaria’s tastiest dishes.

You will stay for 2 nights at the Villa Glori Hotel, a quaint hotel which offers great accessibility to the historical sights of the Eternal City. It is close to Piazza del Popolo, where easy access to the subway will make it easy to see the sights.

With two and a half thousand years of history, art and culture, it is no wonder Rome is one of the most visited cities on the planet, so make the most of your time here! Gaze at the masterpieces of the Vatican or walk into the past with visits to ancient relics, historic monuments and legendary museums.
