Rimini & Adriatic Riviera

About Rimini and Adriatic Riviera Resorts Our Staff Picks for Package Holidays
Italy’s Adriatic Coast has it all! Not only can it boast crystal clear, temperate waters and golden sandy beaches but it is also home to impressive historical architecture, rustic Italian cuisine, great nightlife and kid friendly activities.

The Adriatic Riviera is possibly best known for one of Italy’s most popular beach resorts, Rimini. Welcoming tourists and Italians alike, Rimini offers beautiful sandy beaches where visitors can relax by the water’s edge in the Italian sun and take a dip in the pleasantly mild waters. But there is so much more to the Adriatic Riviera than picture perfect beaches. The glorious stretch of coast features 20km of golden sandy shores but is complemented by lush countryside and bustling characterful towns. These in themselves are a great way to while away the days, relaxing in a café, or wandering quaint streets, discovering their history.

Cesenatico is the perfect resort for families, with its beautiful soft sandy beach, fabulous restaurants, a wealth of history to discover and close proximity to water parks and amusement parks. Its absolutely enchanting old town features a harbour so beautiful that it is believed to have been designed by Leonardo di Vinci and provides a beautiful area for balmy evening strolls.

Rimini's beach is renowned for its idyllic sun holiday setting. However, the appeal doesn’t stop at the beach. It’s beautiful Old Town is just a 15 minute walk from the shore, with its Roman remains and Renaissance cathedral, and with both Florence and Ravenna within easy reach by train, if you can manage to tear yourself away from the relaxing beach, there’s plenty to discover. A vibrant and varied nightlife sees the place come alive in the evenings with a great range of places to enjoy your evening meal and a drink or two while savouring the great atmosphere.

Cattolica is a modest gem on the Adriatic Riviera. Its quaint town is filled with restaurants and markets and provides a wonderful place to relax and enjoy its laid-back atmosphere while exploring and stopping for coffee or a gelato. The sheltered beach is popular with watersports enthusiasts and sun worshippers alike, with its long stretch of golden sandy shores and of course that twinkling Adriatic water.

Bellaria was once an ancient fishing village and has grown to become a well-loved destination for families who simply love the kid-friendly beaches as well as the popular seashell exhibits of Museo delle Conchiglie. Those who love the relaxation of a beach holiday in the sun will love it here and the tree-lined pedestrian zones make for an ideal place to take an afternoon stroll and to explore the shops or stop for an ice-cream.
