With its procession of cypress trees and rolling hills, Tuscany boasts magnificent countryside and elegant seaside resorts. Sample the region’s famous Chianti wines and savour the local cuisine in its many fattorie (farmhouses), wine cellars, trattorias and gourmet restaurants.

No trip to Tuscany would be complete without visiting some of the nearby cities of Florence, Siena, Pisa, Lucca, San Gimignano, Arezzo, Pienza and Montepulciano.

Car hire is included in our holidays to Tuscany!

A car (Group C) with unlimited mileage is included with all our holidays to Tuscany (min. 2 pax.) based on flights to Bologna. Larger cars available at a supplement. Your car may be collected and returned to Bologna airport. Directions to your accommodation will be included with your travel documents.

PLEASE NOTE:

A current, valid credit card is the required form of deposit used to secure car hire. Full Irish/EU driving licence required.

For guests who do not wish to drive, Topflight can offer alternative flights to Pisa instead, with coach transfers included. Prices available on request.

Top 5 things to See & Do in Tuscany

Walk or cycle

The landscape of Tuscany is possibly best appreciated on foot or bike, when you can breathe in the air and enjoy the scenery. Bicycle hire is good value and easily accessible. Your Topflight rep can advise.

Spend a day at the beach

If you’re staying in the country, take a day out to see the seaside and enjoy the wonderful beach that stretches from Forte dei Marmi to Viareggio.

Saturnia thermal springs

Saturnia’s hot springs and waterfall make for a popular family day out. There is a small beach where you can have a picnic.

Art attack

The birthplace of the Renaissance, Tuscany is bursting with art. Try to fit in a trip to Florence and visit the famous Uffizi gallery.

Cookery class

Many traditional fattorias - including some of those featured on the following pages - offer reasonably priced cookery classes where you can learn to cook delicious Tuscan fare.
