Your holiday itinerary
Day 1: Dublin-Naples
Depart Dublin on a direct flight to Naples where you will be met by Topflight’s representative. You will be transferred by luxury air conditioned coach to 4* Hotel Bristol in Sorrento where you will stay for seven nights on a Half Board basis.
Day 2: Sorrento
This morning you are invited to join Topflight’s representative for an entertaining and informative welcome meeting. Weather permitting, this will typically involve a stroll through the town centre to give you a good sense of the geography of the area and its main attractions and landmarks, so useful when you want to explore the town later at your leisure. You may also get to sample the delicious local lemon liqueur, limoncello.
Day 3: Pompeii & Vesuvius
On our expertly guided tour of Pompeii you will see baths, villas and preserved frescoes from ancient Roman times. Then a coach will take you to 1km from the top of Mount Vesuvius from where you can walk to the crater and admire the splendid views across the bay.
Day 4: Sorrento
Today you are free to explore the town at your own pace, and enjoy the amenities of your hotel. The Hotel Bristol is well located just 10 minutes’ walk from the town centre.
Day 5: Sorrento
Relax at your leisure, soaking up the atmosphere of this charming town with its narrow, cobblestoned streets lined with restaurants and elegant boutiques.
Day 6: Amalfi Coast
Today’s excursion is a coach tour along the spectacular Amalfi Coast whose winding clifftop roads offer panoramic views at every turn. Stop just above Positano, and then on to the seaside town of Amalfi. From there we visit Ravello where composer Richard Wagner wrote one of his most famous works.
Day 7: Sorrento Musical
Enjoy a musical evening to remember at the Tasso Theatre starting with a drink on the terrace. The 75 minute performance incorporates such favourite Neapolitan songs as O Sole Mio, Finiculi Finicula and Torna a Surriento.
Day 8: Sorrento-Naples-Dublin
Transfer to Naples Airport for your return flight to Dublin. Alternatively, you may extend your stay for an extra week.
