Your holiday itinerary
Day 1: Dublin/Cork/Belfast/Knock-Verona
Depart on a direct flight to Verona airport where you will be met by Topflight’s representative. You will be transferred by luxury air conditioned coach to 4* Hotel Majestic Palace in Malcesine where you will stay for 7 nights on a Half Board basis.
Day 2: Malcesine, Lake Garda
Today you are free to explore Malcesine. Lying at the foot of Mount Baldo on the eastern shore of Lake Garda, the town is an elegant holiday resort with cobblestoned streets, a pebble beach and unique features such as Scaligeri Castle and Aril, the world’s shortest river.
Day 3: Venice
Today you can enjoy a scenic coach ride to Venice, the ‘Floating City’ with its famous canals and gondolas. The tour includes a private motorboat ride along the canal to St. Mark’s Square, taking in the sights of the Basilica and Bridge of Sighs, then on foot to the Rialto Bridge. A gondola ride or sightseeing cruise on the lagoon are optional (extra charge). Return to the coach on private motorboat, passing St. George’s Island.
Day 4: Malcesine
Explore the town at your own pace, or just kick back, relax and enjoy the fine amenities of the Hotel Majestic Palace.
Day 5: The Dolomites
This is a breathtaking journey through the heart of the Dolomite Mountains. At Canazei we drive to Passo Pordoi from where you can get to Sass Pordoi on Trentino’s highest cable car. In the afternoon we stop at the Gardena Valley in Selva, known for its wood carvings. Bring the camera with you to capture some superb views along the way.
Day 6: Malcesine
Today you can relax again and enjoy your last full day as you wish in Lake Garda.
Day 7: Wine Tour of Trentino
Discover the true taste of Trentino on this half day’s excursion to the Maso Roveri vineyard where you can see how the local wines (Pinot Grigio and Cabernet) are produced. Wine tasting with a snack of bread and salami is included in this pleasant and cheerful afternoon.
Day 8: Verona-Dublin/Cork/Belfast/Knock
Transfer to Verona Airport for your return flight, or extend your stay for a second week.
