Kirchberg, just 6 kms from Kitzbuhel is part of the Kitzbuhel Ski Circus - has over 168 kms of piste, and is a superb ski area for intermediate skiers with 81 blue runs and 68 red runs and of course some challenging black runs including the famous Hahnenkamm which takes place in January. Kirchberg also has access to the Ski Welt - Austria's largest interconnected ski area, which gives you another 280 kms of skiing. Snowboarders are well catered for too, with fun parks and half pipes. And of course for other snowsports enthusiasts, Kirchberg is great for snowboarding, it has a tough toboggan run - not for the faint hearted, and also some great marked trails for Winter Hiking, Snowshoeing and Cross Country skiing - with free guiding!
Kirchberg is a town, full of great bars and restaurants, all close to your hotels. Kirchberg has some superb mountain restaurants, and we intend to have some singing there too during our week! And it is well known for its lively après ski scene. There is a great choice of bars, restaurants with live entertainment in bars such as Der Tiroler, London Pub, Boomerang Pub and a new exciting bar called Schatzi's. These bars will be part of your amazing itinerary for the week with live music and craic, as well as events in the Town Hall where we can cater for everyone! And don't forget you can also pop into Kitzbuhel to experience its famous Casino some evening! If you have time that is, with the busy itinerary we have planned for you all during this great week!
