Resort Info

One of the most fashionable of the French purpose-built resorts, Les Arcs has a reputation for being at the cutting edge of snow sports. There are four 'Arcs', at 1600, 1800, 1950 and 2000 metres, each known by its number: 1600 is known as the 'family' resort, while 1800 is home to most of the facilities and nightlife. Arc 2000 was the original sporting mecca and Arc 1950 - Le Village is the newest development offering the best of accommodation and skiing. Les Arcs is a high quality resort with all facilities available on your doorstep. The ski area includes the Aiguille Rouge glacier, ensuring guaranteed snow. In 2003 Les Arcs was linked by the Vanoise Express cable car to another neighbour, La Plagne, to create the Paradiski area with 425km of exhilarating trails. As the first resort to pioneer the Ski Evolutif teaching method, Les Arcs is a great choice for beginners. For intermediates, the Paradiski truly is a pleasure paradise with a multitude of interlinked blue and red runs, and expert skiers won’t be disappointed, with exciting moguls and off-piste trails to explore. Doorstep skiing is a popular feature of Les Arcs. Great snowboarding too and the resort also has lots to offer non-skiers.
