Resort Info

A vast ski area in its own right, La Plagne is an absolute dream for intermediate skiers, but it also has enough off-piste thrills and spills to satisfy experienced skiers as well as gentle nursery slopes for beginners. However, since it became linked by the Vanoise Express cable car with Les Arcs to form one of the largest ski areas in the world - Paradiski - La Plagne has been elevated to one of the best ski resorts in the world. It has 10 different bases, six high altitude, purpose-built resorts and four traditional villages, all offering great access to the ski area. Topflight offers accommodation in three high altitude villages - the well known Plagne 1800, Plagne Soleil (2050m) and Belle Plagne (2050m). In recent years the resort has installed high capacity chairs, which can carry up to 3,000 skiers per hour, and with 425km of piste, it’s hard to beat the Paradiski region for sheer variety. Beginners quickly progress on the the blue and green runs across the resort. Intermediates are in their element with everything from long trails to quiet powder runs. Experts meanwhile could test their skills with the near vertical 2000m drop off the Bellecote Glacier - with a mountain guide. There are lots of non-skiing activities too, including an Olympic level skibob run, an open-air swimming pool and plenty of clubs, pubs and restaurants.
