The sunny resort of Pamporovo is popular with mixed abilities and particularly well suited to beginner skiers. It boasts an excellent ski school whose English speaking instructors are enthusiastic and patient! The ski school meets at Ski Centre One. The resort’s efficient lift system and shuttle bus service connect the hotels and ski lifts very well, and after a day on the slopes, there is great value après ski prices in the bars and restaurants.

Après Ski

An evening in a local tavern complete with costumed dancers and whole sheep roasting over an open fire is highly recommended. Skidooing and tobogganing are fun, while popular bars include the White Heart, Dak Bar (Irish pub) and BJ’s in the Perelik Hotel.
