Known as ‘Europe’s liveliest ski resort,’ St. Anton combines fantastic skiing terrain with a nightlife that’s hard to beat. Set amidst stunning alpine scenery in the heart of the Arlberg region, there is plenty of skiing for all levels in a cosmopolitan atmosphere that truly buzzes with excitement. St. Anton is a quaint Tyrolean village with many lively bars, inviting restaurants and plenty of shopping opportunities.

The vast panoramic Arlberg “ski circus” with high altitude skiing, offers over 260km of piste and encompasses the villages of Lech, Zurs, Zug, Stuben, St Christoph and St Anton, all covered by the same lift pass and easily reached by the interconnecting lift system or ski bus. The whole area covers a vast choice of terrain, most suited to the intermediate and advanced skier but with good tuition for beginners. Exclusive shops, cafés, patisseries and lively bars line the town’s pedestrianised areas. Non-skiers can enjoy the extensive walking trails around the valley or take a romantic horse-drawn sleigh ride.

The ski school has an excellent reputation and beginners will soon make good progress. The intermediate skier is superbly catered for  with a vast selection of varied terrain, and advanced skiers will find themselves severely tested on the challenging black pistes in the rugged terrain of the high mountain region. St. Anton is an excellent choice for snowboarding – maybe the best in Europe, with a wealth of off-piste areas plus a Fun Park and half pipe on the Rendle.

Après Ski

Chic, sophisticated and lively can only describe the nightlife in St. Anton. There are restaurants, cocktail bars, music bars and discos to cater for all tastes. Après ski starts in the Krazy Kangaruh still on the slopes, and continues to numerous bars and venues including Mosserwirt and Griabli. Later dance the night away at Hazienda, Post Keller or the Kandahar. Popular restaurants include Rosannas, Underground and Post Keller.
