Traditionally Tyrolean in character, the unspoilt village of Westendorf is located in the beautiful Brixen Valley and offers a friendly welcome and a lively après ski scene. Voted the prettiest village in Europe, visitors return year after year because of the excellent range of convenient skiing and the cosy atmosphere of the village.

The resort has its own ski area including an excellent snowpark and gentle nursery slopes right beside the village. It’s also part of the ‘Ski Welt’ circuit boasting 90 lifts and over 250km of prepared piste including the resorts of Söll, Hopfgarten, Brixen, Going, Ellmau and Scheffau. Westendorf is linked with the main Ski Welt area via a gondola link to Brixen and the area lift pass gives access to the ‘Ski Welt’ circuit.

Beginners will start on the gentle nursery slopes and soon progress to the upper slopes at the Laubkogel and Talkaser. For intermediates, there is a good choice of exciting runs on the Gampen Kogle and Choralpe area, not to mention the ‘Ski Welt’ circuit giving access to the largest intermediate ski and snowboard area in Europe.  Advanced skiers will enjoy the steep and mogulled black and off-piste runs. The top of the Choralpe and ‘Death Valley’ will test even the best skier with its huge mogulled and often icy terrain.

Après Ski

Kirchberg has a lively après ski scene. Party all night at the Boomerang Pub, Der Tiroler, Londoner Pub, Eisbar, Vis a Vis and Coconut Bar. There are restaurants serving everything from pizza to sauerkraut. Worth trying are the Kupferstuben, Brixenthaler Stuben, Asado's Steakhouse, Pizza per Tutti, Nabucco, Pfeffermühle and Café Lorenzoni.
