introduced a new long haul division of the multi-award winning brand. The new
division, WeTravel2, aims to provide

Brian McCarthy has 22 years experience in the
travel industry having previously worked with Classic Resorts and as Director
of Escape2. Brian’s focus has been on long-haul
destinations and he has travelled extensively throughout the Indian Ocean,
Middle East, Africa, the Caribbean and South East Asia.
He has worked closely with many of the leading hotel groups worldwide
including Starwood Hotels, Per Aquum Resorts, Shangri-La, Sandals Resorts and
Dreams Resort.
His main interest is in the Maldives, the magical group of
islands on which to relax and unwind.
Martin
Penrose
has 30 years experience in the travel industry.
After 10 years as a Sales Representative with South African Airways in Manchester, Martin moved to Ireland in 1999 and worked with
Twohigs Worldwide Holidays for 8 years. He developed their worldwide groups
division and then followed that by moving into their long-haul department as
Product Manager, before taking on the role of company Director.
Martin joined Escape2 in June 2007
as Product Manager, responsible for the on-going development of existing
products together with the development of new destinations throughout South
East Asia, Southern Africa and the South Pacific Islands.
Martin has travelled extensively throughout the Indian Ocean, South East Asia,
the South Pacific, the Middle East and South Africa, his favourite
destination.
