Pisa

The historic town of Pisa in Tuscany is most famous for its leaning tower, but there is more to see than this single icon. It’s a pleasure to stroll through the Lungarni - the streets running along the River Arno lined with ancient palaces - and stop for lunch at Piazza dei Cavalieri, the old town square, with its beautiful historic buildings and lively cafés, bars and restaurants.
