Relax on the glorious Adriatic Riviera and
while there, explore nearby treasures including the town
of Assisi, historic Ravenna and the tiny Republic of San Marino.
Day 1: Dublin-Bologna
Depart Dublin on a direct flight to
Bologna airport where you will be met by
Topflight’s representative. You will be
transferred by luxury air conditioned
coach to 4* Hotel Patrizia in Rimini where you will stay for 7 nights
on a Half Board basis.
Day 2: Rimini
Today you are free to explore the
beautiful resort of Rimini with its long,
golden sandy beach and chic promenade
lined with bars and restaurants. Stroll
through the winding lanes of the historic
Old Town with its stylish shops and cafés,
stopping for lunch or a coffee at one of
its lovely piazzas.
Day 3: Assisi
Enjoy a full day’s excursion to the pink
stone city of Assisi, birthplace of St.
Francis and St Chiara. In the morning we
visit the Basilica of St. Chiara and see
the remains of the house where St.
Francis lived. After lunch we reach the
famous Basilica of St. Francis and St.
Mary of the Angels Cathedral.
Day 4: Rimini
After all that sightseeing, take a day to
explore Rimini at your leisure, relax and
enjoy the fine amenities of the Hotel
Patrizia, mere steps from the beautiful
beach
Day 5: Ravenna
This afternoon we visit the ancient town
of Ravenna, celebrated for its exquisite
golden mosaics and rich cultural
heritage. Highlights include the tomb of
Dante Alighieri, the poet renowned for
his Divine Comedy and also known as the
Father of the Italian language; the impressive Basilica di San Vitale and the
Mausoleum of Galla Placidia which
houses the oldest - and to many, the best
- mosaics in Ravenna.
Day 6: San Marino
Following a free morning, we take a half
day’s excursion to San Marino, the
smallest and oldest Republic in the
world. You’ll have time to explore the
medieval streets of its historic centre,
enjoy some tax-free shopping and admire
the views from its fortresses.
Day 7: Rimini
Enjoy your last full day on the Adriatic
Riviera at your leisure.
Day 8: Bologna-Dublin
Transfer to Bologna Airport for your
return flight home, or extend your stay
for another 7 nights at Hotel Patrizia
