Your holiday itinerary
Day 1: Dublin/Cork/Belfast-Verona
or Dublin-Milan
Depart on a direct flight to Verona or Milan
airport where you will be met by Topflight’s
representative. You will be transferred by
luxury air conditioned coach to 3* Hotel
Mayer et Splendid (see page 192) in
Desenzano or 4* Hotel Terrazze sul Lago in
Padenghe sul Garda (ask our staff for
details), where you will stay for 7 nights on
a Half Board basis.
Day 2: At Your Leisure
Today you can relax and enjoy strolling
through your resort, or take the ferry and
visit other towns along the lake.
Day 3: Tour of Lake Garda
Discover even more of Lake Garda with
this unforgettable full day boat and coach
trip which is both enchanting and
relaxing. Throughout the day you will get the opportunity to visit many of the
picturesque villages dotted along the
lake shore and soak up the atmosphere
of the resort with its fairytale castles,
lush vegetation and spectacular lake and
mountain views.
Day 4: At Your Leisure
Today you can enjoy the local market at
the lakeside promenade, or just relax.
Day 5: Venice
Today you can enjoy a scenic coach and
private boat ride to Venice, the ‘Floating
City’ with its famous canals and
gondolas. You can stroll through the
lively main piazza, St. Mark’s Square, and
see all the sights including the Doges
Palace, the Clock Tower and Rialto
Bridge. Soak up the atmosphere of this
amazing city with its shops, art galleries
and museums.
Day 6: At Your Leisure
Today you can kick back and relax,
enjoying your last full day at your leisure
in Lake Garda.
Day 7: Verona
Today we set off for a tour of Verona, the
setting for Shakespeare’s romantic
tragedy, Romeo and Juliet. Standing on
the banks of the River Adige, Verona is a
city rich in history, art and architecture.
You’ll see the famous Arena, renowned
for its opera (see page 150 for details),
Juliet’s balcony and other key sights on
this memorable excursion.
Day 8: Verona-Dublin/Cork/Belfast
or Milan-Dublin
Transfer to your departure airport for your
return flight, or if you’d like to relax a little
longer in Lake Garda, we can extend your
stay here for an extra week.
